I have a particular interest in contributing to education design research based on my different experiences in practice and as an education design advisor. Here is an overview of some of the projects I've been involved with recently.
Mosaic approach in practice
The Mosaic Approach is a methodology that uses the expertise and perception of young people to draw out their insights in creating meaningful, appropriate and cost effective places for learning.

I am involved with a project called The Learning Exchange that brings together people from different school infrastructure programmes around the world. Our aim is to learn from each other's past experience as the means to support good practice in school building despite these challenging times.

Low-cost schools
School design does not need to be expensive, in fact good school design will be economical, efficient and targeted. It can also offer innovative opportunities for learning and building and for engaging and sustaining young people and teachers.
